I guess it is a case mostly with stars that peak too early in life. The money and fame Hollywood has on offer is too difficult to digest easily and it prompts a lifestyle that leaves the stars turning into addicts. All stars get into it early but only those who quit it on time succeed in become legends. Others like Amy or Tatum fade out of existence, their nemesis obviously their addiction.
